Biden Administration Halts COVID-19 Employer Mandate

The Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced earlier this month that it is suspending its enforcement of the Biden administration's new rules ordering larger employers to either require that their workers get vaccinated against "emergency temporary standard" or undergo weekly testing.

 Lawsuit Filed by Physicians, Hospitals Seeks Change in Surprise Billing Cases

The AMA and AHA filed a lawsuit challenging a Biden administration decision on how to implement the law shielding patients from most surprise medical bills. At issue is how arbitrators will decide the amount insurers pay toward disputed out-of-network bills.
