July 1: The Last Day to Register for the AMCNO July 8 Event!

The final day to register for the AMCNO Open House Website Launch Party is July 1. This event takes place Thursday, July 8, from 5:30 - 8 pm, on the rooftop at Alley Cat Oyster Bar. It's free for AMCNO members to attend, and guest registration is $25. We will feature some great raffle prizes, plus complimentary beer, wine and appetizers. Hope to see you there!

Urge Gov. DeWine to Veto Anti-Vaccination Bill

In a last-minute effort before summer break, Republican lawmakers in both houses passed HB 244. If signed into law, it would block public schools and colleges from mandating vaccination against COVID-19. Contact Gov. Mike DeWine to urge a veto on this language.

Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (SB 6) Passes

 The AMCNO strongly supported this legislation, as it offers a voluntary and expedited pathway to licensure for physicians who qualify and who want to practice in multiple states. Now, it awaits Gov. DeWine's signature.
