Register Now for a "Hot Talks" Session on Nov. 3, Co-Hosted by AMCNO and CMBA

Please join us for a free virtual lunch and learn event the AMCNO and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) are co-hosting on November 3, from noon to 1 pm, to discuss the ethics behind local health systems' current decision to refuse transplants to unvaccinated patients. This session is part of the CMBA's "Hot Talks" program.

Please note: The panelists will not be speaking on behalf of the health systems--they will discuss the science and ethics behind these types of decisions.

The guest speakers for this session will be AMCNO President Dr. Kristin Englund, an infectious disease physician, and Sharona Hoffman, Edgar A. Hahn Professor of Law, Professor of Bioethics, and Co-Director of the Case Western Reserve University Law Schools' Law-Medicine Center. 

Brad Reed, Chairman of the CMBA Health Care Law Section, and partner at Frantz Ward, will serve as the moderator.
